Default Pokercharts.com...a nice site to record your play

Read about this place in a pretty good book that one of the hosts of Celebrity Poker on Bravo wrote. Believe me, the book is MUCH better than that show - is that show LAME or what???

Anyway, if you have time to record your play, it will give you all kinds of stats that you can configure the way you want to...some of the stats are Greek to me though.

It gives you a nice line chart (if that's the right term, it's like a profit/loss chart with the squiggly line going up or down) that shows your overall total. And the other stat I really like is your hourly rate of return. I believe I read somewhere that good players shoot for a profit of two big bets an hour, anyway I like this feature.

You can break down your play to reflect different limits, different forms of poker, tourneys separate from ring play, "live" poker vs. internet play, etc. etc. All kinds of ways to break your play down.

And they said that no spam would be gererated from joining up, I haven't gotten bombarded with junk e-mails at all. Not even from them.

So if you are into keeping records - and I think all players should keep some type of records - check this place out!

I went and looked at the website. I looks really neat. I suspect Halvey wouldn't be able to track an elephant in the snow, so what's the use?

I almost signed up for the free service, but I was hesitant due to giving my personal information out if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean ace.ten...but so far I haven't gotten any type of e-mails, spam, etc. from them or any other site connected to poker.
