We need a list of the top 10 things to do while you are in a tournament and waiting for good cards. I will start.

Trim your fingernails.

When I'm waiting for good cards, and they are not coming, I will play Ravel's Bolero. It seems to draw some better cards in. That and Radiohead's album Kid A. Although Herb Albert has done wonders for my cards. I have a lot of different music on my puter and if one style isn't helping me out, I'll change.

GREAT !!!! Told the teenager about this website where u can discuss poker etc. and hit this suggestion for when u are waiting for cards - www.carlaschoice.com. So, there WE are punching in the letters and UP POPS www.carlaschoice.com. FUMBLED WITH THE MOUSE FOR ABOUT FOUR SECONDS TRYING TO KILL THE SITE - FIVE SECONDS TOOOOO LATE.

In answer to your question about spending time waiting for a hand - TRYING TO FIGURE OUT ANY ANSWERS THAT WILL GET ME OUT OF THE HOT WATER I AM IN .

DAMN

Well, thanks for your input. That begs the question: "Should I moderate the board to make sure it is more suitable for the general public, or should I allow it to be a open forum with freedom of speech?

I am considering a poll, but what to get some feedback from the other members on this first. I can understand your concern. But, on the other hand, this forum is intended for adults.

Ace:
Realize that this is/should be an adult site.

My mistake for not screening the suggested site prior to sharing it with the young one.

My opinion on the idea of "moderating" your site? When an individual wishes to enter commentary, it is a reflection of that person's morals, ethics, intelligence, maturity, interests and what he/she feels is a worthwhile (or not) contribution to the overall forum.

Though the internet is a vey anonymous interaction there is one regulator that will, without doubt, moderate the contributor and lay bare any and all indescretions 100% of the time - a
MIRROR.

Words themselves are just a reflection of the command of the language- the material discussed within that language is a reflection of the character of the speaker.

No need to moderate as far as I am concerned - I failed to be vigilante and now I will suffer the consequences for that failure.

Quite enjoy the opportunity to read other player's comments and contribute in some small way. Enjoy your site Ace, I'll just have to endure a night on the couch.

That site will now rank up there, but I usually watch TV to pass the time.
