Multi tables are relatively new to me online. I have found them to be an exercise in patience and will. I would certainly suggest playing in them. The payoffs once you reach the final table are quite satisfying. My suggestion on strategy in playing multi-tables is patience. Only play premium hands early on and then scale back your hand requirements as the blinds increase. Many players play with the opposite philosophy but I believe this is a very defeating way to play. As blinds go up it becomes much more lucrative to narrow the field you are playing against. Never enter multi action pots if you don't have something premium. You want to isolate as much as possible. This is why I play mostly premium hands early on. There are going to be alot of people in the pots with small blind structures so you are exposing yourself. Never limp unless you have a possibility of a super strong flop situation (i.e. low p pairs with many people in the pot). I could ramble on ad nauseum but I think this is sufficient. I would suggest playing in a 10+1 non rebuy tourney to start out with. If your bankroll is sufficient try and 20+2. Now you most likely won't make the money in your first attempt. But don't be disheartened. One first place finish covers anywhere from 150 to 250 money misses. Stay away from the rebuys because they are a completely different animal. Once you are ready for rebuys you should be prepared to spend no less than $51 in the 10+1 rebuy events and 102 in the 20+2 rebuys. The strategies for rebuys are decidedly different. You must be much more aggressive and you must also realize that everyone else you are playing against will be functioning the same way. I would not suggest slowplaying ANYTHING in rebuy situations. Slowplaying against 1 aggressive player is good but against 9 is not. Bet your top pairs, and sets. Good luck

I have only started being successfull in Multi Tourney this year. I think the key to success is patients and to note these things:

-More Gamblers, Fish or whatever you want to call them at the beginning of the tournement. As your progress through the tourney, less the number of Fishermen.

-I like limit Hold em Tourneys. It is easier to survive bad beats near the beginning and middle of them.

-Once at the Final table, let the other guy make the mistake. Some people get so antsy because the payout then increase expodentially. A patient short stake can make twice as much from waiting someone out.
