You have KK

Here is a classic situation. You are dealt KK and you match the BB amount to test the waters of the flop. Everyone else bets the BB. The flop reveals AQJ with 2 of those cards being clubs. One of your K's is a club. There are 3 players besides yourself who are in play. It is up to you to bet first. What's the plan?

I definitely think this is a good spot for check-raise. It'll also give you a shot to feel out if anyone has another A to top your pocket pair. If you sense weakness, jump on it.

I bet out here to see where I am at...Depending on the players at the table depends on my bet. If I get raised and depending how much I make my decision then.

what a flop for KK you cant like your odds if 4 or more people r in this pot....I check and see if I can get a FREE card to make my hand or maybe a club hits and gives me a few extra outs... but is your K an out anymore? probably not because someone holding something like 910-10J-Q10-K10-or A10 will straight u out and u failed to raise preflop making alll these hand if not worse possibly in "play" I dont like the way this hand was played. got to push out all the Ax cards and the semi playable hands that would have killed u ! BETTER TO WIN SMALL POT THAN LOSE A BIG ONE!

I agree with smokin here. One of the last two Kings is not going to give you the lead here. If I'm in this spot, I'd also try to get a free or relatively cheap card. Then:

1. If I get lucky and catch an offsuit 10, I pump it.

2. If I hit the 10 of clubs, I raise but just call any reraise and wait for a river club to raise once (given that the ace of clubs may still be out).

3. If I catch a King, I check call and pump if I fill up on the river. Otherwise, check call to showdown.

4. Any other card, I fold to ANY raise but will call down single bets to showdown.

I do not agree with the play of just matching the BB. By doing that we put ourselves in the probability that if an ace comes out, we probably have the losing hand. Someone, definitely at PS's, is going to play A,2...A,3....A,4....A,5 just for the BB. If we raise 3x or 4x the blind, they may not play it.
Regarding this situation, I would bet 1/2 the pot and see who calls. If there is a raise, I would consider folding, or reraising, not calling.

I agree there are a lot of idiots on PS who will bet A2-A5 to the end if an A comes out on the flop. I rarely if ever even match the BB with them in the hole. If you do flop an A you have a weak ass hand. If you flop a 2 what the hell do you have to work with? About the only time I will work with them is if it is heads up and even then I have been burned time and time again. In all honesty I would rather see a 78 off in my hand than a A2-A5 before the flop.

I agree Paul, I'll play a 78s more times then I will an A2-A7

First off, I would have bet more than just matching the big blind, to avoid having several players in the pot in the first place.

But with that many players, the odds are that someone has an Ace I would have to think. I would either check or bet a small amount. You definitely don't want to risk a lot of chips on this hand now.
