Default What are you suppose to do?

What are you suppose to do to beat these donks, that is about the 4th time this asshole raped me in this game:

Level VII (100/200) - 2009/06/30 11:16:52 ET
Table '175784168 1' 9-max Seat #6 is the button
Seat 5: CrYsTal00x (3598 in chips)
Seat 6: xCRAPSHOOTx (9902 in chips)
CrYsTal00x: posts the ante 25
xCRAPSHOOTx: posts the ante 25
xCRAPSHOOTx: posts small blind 100
CrYsTal00x: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to xCRAPSHOOTx [9h 9s]
xCRAPSHOOTx: raises 400 to 600
CrYsTal00x: raises 1800 to 2400
xCRAPSHOOTx: raises 7477 to 9877 and is all-in
CrYsTal00x: calls 1173 and is all-in
Uncalled bet (6304) returned to xCRAPSHOOTx
*** FLOP *** [5s 2h As]
*** TURN *** [5s 2h As] [Qd]
*** RIVER *** [5s 2h As Qd] [6h]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
CrYsTal00x: shows [3c 4c] (a straight, Deuce to Six)
xCRAPSHOOTx: shows [9h 9s] (a pair of Nines)
CrYsTal00x collected 7196 from pot

I know, I should have waited to see a flop, then when he went all-in I would have known that he flopped a wheel ... or maybe representing Aces or a set of 5's or a set of deices ... nah anybody that would raise and then call an all-in with 34 would not try anything stupid like representing cards that they don't have.

I would have made the same play HU. You had him dominated but he pulled one out. Happens to everyone. I'm sure you have pulled one out against an opponent before, I know I have.

Cool wow

wow thats was luck

but you make mistakes

Dealt to xCRAPSHOOTx [9h 9s] junk cards
xCRAPSHOOTx: raises 400 to 600
CrYsTal00x: raises 1800 to 2400
xCRAPSHOOTx: raises 7477 to 9877 and is all-in

with a chip lead like i never would of pull that
take chips from them little by little you dont want them doubling up on you
reraise was the cue for you 2fold an play another hand
is ok to fold good looking cards that are junk in certain moments

good try

I depend how your opponent plays, but shove-4bet with 99 and larger stack is not a bad play, unless this is a very tight opponent, which does not seem to be the case from your comments.

Ask durrrr, did he not 4bet allin or something like that on the 3rd hand of his match against Hellmuth at the National Championship of HU with TT.

If durr can do it (ok excuse me for the difference between 99 and TT), then you can do it.

Lurock,

In heads-up play a pair of 9's is not a junk hand, it's actually a premium hand. 3/4 and 2/3 are the absolute worst hands you can play simply because in HU play, it is most often the high-card that wins at showdown.

If you folded HU with a pp after a re-raise, you will be playing losing HU poker. Any high pp is worth going all-in with.

This hand was played stupidly by Crystal, but got the same old stupid pokerstars BS on the flop.

If I was Crystal here, I may have called Crapshoot's raise, but there's no way I re-raise with only 34s here. However, since Crystal did, she was pot committed since her raise put over half her chips in the pot. She should have just shoved in the first place if she was going to play it this way. At least that way, she retains some fold equity.
