Default Look Who Won it All...

I posted this hand in an earlier thread but I'm not posting this as a bad beat post. Instead look at the guy that sucked out the win. Two days later he wins the friggin Sunday Million!

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about it other than it's kinda cool to be able to say, "yeah that guy that just won $162K in the Sunday Million sucked out on me".

What do you mean?

Is raising to 5xbb preflop with AA a sign of poor skill?
Is putting out a continuation bet a sign of poor skill?
Is raising with a full house (when you think your opponent has trips) a sign of poor skill?

Was the hand posted a bad beat? Sure. With that said, had Dinero raised on the flop (not that he ever should), we don't know that villain would have called.

Do you need some luck to win the Sunday Million? Of course. However, you also need just a little bit of skill to go that far too.

I wasnt questioning the poker skills of the guy i was just pointing out that anybody can win it since the chances that a guy who put a really bad beat on me for a very big pot is now the sunday million champion are extremely marginal. It's one of those. "Jeez, what are the odds of that man?".... kind of things. Not one of those, "God damn donks win everything and the best player in the world (me) never wins a thing!!!! Damn!"
