I'm such a choke!!

I have been doing well enough to make the SnG leader boards lately. My problem is everytime I am in great shape to get into the money positions with 3 games to go, I choke!! I had 357 pts on Earth level and lost all 3 games. I have made the board twice and just missed the money both times. I will probably make it a 3rd time with 357, but once again not in the money. I am beginning to think it is psychological and I could use some advice. I think I am playing overly careful

Maybe I should stop looking at the board until Saturday night and get pleasantly surprised?

I don't understand how that works. I get messages that I have points in "neptune" and I don't have a clue what it is about.

If you go to help and news you will find the details under Battle of The Planets for SnG's. If you go to request in the main lobby of PStars you can get you accumulated points under the various money levels. There is a lot of detail so it is hard to explain it all here.

How about next month you play without looking at the board.

Just play poker, don't count how much money you're winning or losing and don't count your points. Just play your best and free yourself from other concerns.
Easier said than done I know but poker is a long term thing and I believe short term goals can be a hindrance.

You know your good enough to make the points now, stop worrying about them.
