1. It was a coin flip hand

2. The blinds are 30 and you go all-in PF why? Of course this has been asked on numerous other occassions in your bad beat threads.

NOTE: poker can be played more than pre-flop and actually allows bets on the river

99 is a very strong hand heads up and if my oppenent tries to push me around preflop, I shove as well. If I am beat with higher pockets fine, but usually your ahead just as was the case in this hand 55/45 in crapshoot's favor.

Oh I might add that crapshoot made the move here not fink. Fink called all his chips off with ak. Which is the right play as well considering pot size and hand value.

There were only 2 called hands in both games where at least one of the opponents had all their chips in the center they were both bet by me and they were both sucked out by Fink...they were the 2 critical hands in the games. Now you might say why risk it...Well in one if my dominate hand holds up I win the tournament, if I lose, I am not knocked out...so why not...what happen to that old saying "put your money in the pot with the best of them" It is rarely that one will hit either of their pocket cards in a hand especially in HU, so if your pocket cards are already hit before the cards are laid out on the board then why wouldn't I have the best chance of winning when my opponent is holding 2 separate cards. Now if I were the one putting all my chips in the center with AK, you would be saying, how can you do that, you don't even have a pair yet. One of my biggest losing hands according to poker tracker is AK and suited at that...so AK is not all what it is made up to be and my highest winning hand out of all of them is 88...so I do not see anything wrong with pushing with 99 especially when my stack is taller and it is a tournament ending hand for my opponent.

There is a lot of luck in poker and since my opponents have all the luck against me, I just have to live with it...but I am still not going to go against smart poker when I have the best hands...I still have to make my opponents draw out on me, otherwise I will have to start running from every hand and every situation and I just have to hope that somewhere down the line that the odds hold up when they are in my favor. I don't mind losing with the best hand in some of the cases, I just don't like losing with them in almost all of the cases.

Now Rocket you say that hands can be played out and bets can be made on the river...now my answer to that is why would I want to intensionally give my opponents a chance to draw out on me, especially when they would not have to hit much, to beat me...now you might say that they do anyway...yes in some cases they do, but what I have to look at is do I collect more in cases when they just fold or I win as opposed to when they call the big bets anyway and I lose. Now in the cheap donk games they will call regardless, but I have to filter to the higher caliber games to get a truthful answer. One of the major reasons for NL is to keep the opponent from looking at another card otherwise it is like limit and we all know that limit is a no fold'em game.

Crapshoot u played the hand when u had 99 perfect. I would have played it the same way bud. There is no other way to play that hand in that spot in a HU match. Well there are other ways of playing it, but those would be the wrong way.

Wow. It's hart to comment on this hand without more information but this is my opinion based on what I see.

It's still early in the tournament I can see no reason to risk 2/3 of your stack on a coin flip. If you were 90% sure he was going to fold to a push then I say good play. Based on his re-raise I'd can't imagine you having better than a 10% chance of him folding. Basically you have no fold equity.

55% is hardly dominant and you can't believe 99 is too far ahead of much after a big reraise like that.

Don't you think you could find a better spot? There's a lot of tournament left. If you get in with a coin flip you're going tolose half the time. That's just the facts. Don't complain when you do.

Dinero the hand was play 100% correct by crapshoot, if u disagree with that then u do not know how to play winning poker my friend. Any pro would have done the same thing as crapshoot in a heads up match, trust me. Now a full ring game is a different story , but HU that is how u play the hand.
