I'm getting paranoid

I just won a seat to the Sunday Million but I was paranoid throughout the tournament because of the trash luck that I have been having. Throughout the complete tournament all that I could think of, now matter what cards I had was that I was going to lose the hand...this is about as bad as you want to get and will keep you from winning...if my attitude doesn't change by Sunday I will just cash out. I still do not know how I won one of the 4 seats feeling like that, it is not good.

I was also in a WSOP sat, close to a seat in second place and lost, because I now feel it was due to my paranoid attitude!

I need a breath of fresh air and to shake it off.

One needs to feel good and have the right attitude like Cali to have a shot at winning. Maybe I should drink and play, I'm a happy drunk.

Another cash, good job man. Feeling nervous and being on your toes is a good thing, not bad. Champions play better with constant pressure, are you in the hotseat? Or are you a recreational tourist with no worries? Come on crapshoot go for the bigbucks, getum champ!

And you still ain't seen that that is evidence of what I said before, you need a break. We've all been there, the old paranoid poker bit, and there comes a stage where trying to play through it just makes things worse.

Just don't stop talking to us though. We are part of the light relief.

I too am paranoid about Stars. I just had A K suited, blinds at 50/100 I raise to 500. UTG limper CALLS. Flop is 5 5 K He goes all in, I call, he called my pre flop raise with 5 3 OFF!!! not even "sooted" And every friggin minute of every day P Stars rewards that BS.

Totally understand the paranoid feeling, especially on Poker Stars. The break will do you good though. But until you lose that paranoid feeling, I probably wouldn't play the Sunday million either. Let us know if you decide to play it however; I would be more than happy to be on the rail for you.

That's ridicules Deuce, that's what I mean...how can you beat them...now the odds are against them, but there are so many more of them that they are going to hit and take you down! Dominance doesn't matter, but what is bad is when you are at the point that you expect it to happen pre-play, no matter what cards you have...it hinders your ability.
