Nope, you are still missing the words that say sometimes. Sometimes you just think set or 2 pair and going against your gut reaction is something I find expensive.
What you say about what the guy holds is only true against a loose player. It is not true about a tight player. Against a loose player I would call or raise too, and my comments say that I have been doing that. All I'm saying is sometimes you have more information, sometimes you have a feeling, so it's wrong to presume fold always means wimp. If the guy is a tight player you have tons of information.
But note, a decent tight player will be good enough to loosen up in mid position and seriously loosen up in late position. In those cases folding is definitely not called for, unless your gut says you need to hit more than one card. I have know idea how to explain how you sometimes get that feeling, normally you don't, sometimes you do. |
