| | | | suited and connected Hello,
Does anyone know the percentage that "connected" matters?
I know suit matters 3% of the time, but could someone explain connected to me?
Also, why do people always talk like suited matters in late postion when it only makes a difference 1 in 33 times?
Thanks! | |

| | | | RacingDog,
I really like that link. Quite a good summary.
In the table, suited cards are placed way above non-suited cards. Is that because even though they only hit 1 in 33 times, when they do hit you get paid off? Or is it something else?

| | | | I see.
What if the field is narrowed by a raise, and only 2 or 3 players see the flop. Does that table still apply, or is it only for if 10 people see the flop?
Thanks. | |

| | | | Think about it this way, there are 10 hands at the start of the hand. These percentages show where you will stand amongst all 10 hands at the end of the hand regardless if they are in or not. | |

When you don't because the opponents hit an even higher hand it will cost you a packet. Most people are optimists and tend to forget this.

| | | | I'm a little confused. So if there are 10 people at the table, you have pocket aces, and you raise and narrow the field to heads up and 2 people see the flop, the aces hold up only 1/3 of the time? | |

Getting people to fold will increase it's win percent but this chart does not illistrate that. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread
