I'm curious what you guys' comments are... |
First of all I have no idea what the PHUCK you're mumbling about here. lol,
However I dont really need to read your thread to answer the question. Yes, position is ALWAYS important, no matter what you have or what your opponent has. It is important because if you are in late position you're gaining information on what your opponent could have depending on how he plays it. If you are in early position you have very little information about your opponent's hand because you havent seen him act yet. If you're in late position, a guy checks it to you from early position, he's probably holding nothing so you bet and take down the pot. Standard play. (just be careful of the check raise). The list on how to use position is a very long and complicated one and you will soon become well aquinted with it.
Now, I strongly reccomend that you play a few more hands when you are in late postion. Suited connectors are ok, 78 suited, JTs, and a medium strenght ace like A8 A9 AT is ok to play (when you play a bit more you will start getting a bit more comfortable playing all kinds of hands from late position, because poker is a situational game). If you're gonna play that tight it will take you very long to make any money, (especially at micro stakes). I also reccomend that you stay away from cash tables and stick to SNGs and Tourneys at micro level. There is alot more money to be made playing Heads Up matches and tourneys than there is in cash tables at micro stake level.
Anyways, hope that helps.
