Cuttin back

So lately I've kinda been running bad. You know, the usual bad luck streak of getting every highest pocket pair beat to some lower pocket pair due to a nasty flop, the usual runner runner back door flush, or how about that two outer on the river they sucked out. Well, I've seen all of those above happen to me within the past three weeks. Thus one reason as why you haven't seen me around as much.


I've decided to cut back on my poker playing a lot recently. I figured why not take somewhat of a break and chill out. Sometimes I'm just mentally tired and just don't want feel like concentrating a shit load.

Even though poker is f*ckin awesome, it can be really stressful at times, and we all know it. Hopefully I'll get back that urge to want to play more and get that bad luck streak gone and out the door.

That's Poker

I hear ya... I'm currently in another long running funk where poker is no fun what-so-ever so I just don't play. Regardless of how well you are playing it's only a matter of waiting for the big outdraw to cripple your stack... no fun what-so-ever.

Poker for me was always simple entertainment after the kids go to bed, just find something new to keep your interest and you won't miss the game at all until you decide to make your comeback. On one break I decided to take up the show 24... had never seen an episode so I went out and started renting. Watched Seasons 1-5 all in a row (was a nice few months ) and never once did a desire to play poker hit me.

This time I bought a Wii a week ago Thats another bonus of having kids, you have an excuse to buy whatever you want Jumping back and forth between Guitar Hero 3 and Metroid Prime 3 I really couldn't care less about poker at the moment

Yeah, I remember couple months back were I had a bad streak and at night instead of playing poker like I usually did, I just watched all three seasons of Weeds. Great show to watch. For both pothead and non potheads.
