Gee what a shock, another raise with from early position with a moderately strong A and you lose. Have you begun to see a pattern yet?

Hint:

You can't lose chips you don't put in the middle.

The thing you need to look at is this even if it had been a simple raise and call you were only slightly ahead preflop. Even without the all in (which was a silly move to me as you could have waited and just played the hand) you were still not a huge favorite.

I really don't see an issue here. You raised, and the shortstack decided to try his luck with KJ. You only had one overcard. Unlucky to lose with 2 pairs, sure. But nothing worth whining about. You lost a few chips against a decent all-in call. What's the problem?

What pisses me off, is people calling huge all-ins with 85s or some crap like that, and seemingly winning every single bloody time.

First thing I see at 3 Big Blinds worth of chips for the opponent. K J looks good enough for an all in. At 3 BBs they are at all in mode because they can not afford to give them away with folds.

That hand is very playable and suck outs happen. Since Monday I have had my share go against me, but last week I know it was the other way around.

So relax in the long run it all will even out.

The thing I am bitching about is that I do get two pair and a Broadway sneaks in because I got my two pair...Broadway has been good to me, however Broadway has also been my nemesis....he would have won anyway if I didn't hit the Ace, but normally that is not the case...Normally my unwanted improved hand causes my loss.
