KOMARS AS FOR UR QUESTION I WOULD RECOMMEND TO U TO TO START MAKING UR AGGR. RAISE IN POSITION, THIS WAY U ACT LAST IN THE HAND. IT IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT TO BE AGGRESIVE IN THIS GAME , JUST DO IT IN POSITION OR A SUPERIOR PLAYER WILL BREAK U. IF U FEEL A PLAYER IS FLOATING UR FLOP BET WITH AIR, THEN TEST HIM ON THE TURN. IF HE CALLS THE TURN , THEN U GOTTA DIG DOWN DEEP AND AN ALL IN SHOVE ON RIVER IS UR ONLY HOPE TO GET HIM TO LAY DOWN. GL BUDDY

cat5cane, seriously, loose the caps dude.

As for your "strategies", it takes a lot more then being aggressive in position to be a winning player. You need to mix up your play or you become too easy to read and any average player will bust you. Shoving with air when a player has called two bullets is generally not the best course of action.

As for your challenge, is that open to anyone? Based on your statements I'd love to play you heads up.

Raising on the Button EVERY time is absurd. I love to raise in position, and the button is the ultimate. But I only do this if its any hand I would play. Like 45s, I would normally play this hand for a cheap pot, so if its folded to me Im going to raise and try to take the pot right there. I wouldnt raise with 72o unless the table has proven to me they will fold for any raise unless they hold a monster.

Cat, first off...

Who do you think we are going to respect more here - someone who types out a well-constructed post, who doesn't TYPE IN CAPS, and separates their thoughts through sentences and paragraphs, or someone who is doing what you are doing? Just something you need to consider.

Now, as for your advice for me: Being out of position has it's advantages too. Bluffs from early position are more likely to be respected - you've said it yourself, if someone bets/raises from the cutoff or button, it is most likely a steal (and therefore they should be raised). As for firing second and third bullets...I only do that if I am certain whoever I am playing has a draw. At the micro levels, players WILL call you down with 2nd pair, no matter how strong you bet it the entire way.

TO U PLAYERS WHO DO WANT TO GET BETTER USE THESE STRATEGIES AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS FOR U , IT WILL ONLY HELP U IM SURE. OF COURSE U HAVE TO ALSO USE YOUR INSTINCTS IN ANY GIVEN SITUATION AND READ THE BOARD AS TO WHAT UR OPPONENT MIGHT HAVE, BUT REMEMBER THIS , AND THIS IS A PROVEN FACT, THE AGGRESOR COMES OUT AHEAD WAY MORE OFTEN THAN THE SCARED PLAER DOES!!!!!!!!!
