Default what level cash table do you recommend?

Hello,

I play best against slightly loose good players.

I'm playing 2c/5c cash games right now, and I wanted to describe my ideal table and see if you can tell me what cash level I should be playing at. My guess is that I need to play at at least $1/$2 tables.

My ideal table:

When someone raises, say, 2-3 times the big blind, everyone either folds or one person (almost always one) calls.

There's not a lot of limping, noone likes to be the first limper.

there is almost never any donks.

the blinds many times battle for the big and little blind.

Thanks Guys!

Doesn't exist.

I think it's reasonable to believe that as you go up in stakes the average skill level goes up though. Regardless of the stakes you're always going to find loose play and donks. If everybody's playing tight it's almost expected that somebody will loosen up to take advantage of the tight play.

Certainly at 2c/5c tables you'll see players calling with just about anything and it will get better as you increase the stakes but the utopia and you described doesn't exist

Rail some of the different stakes for a while to get a feel and see where your comfort level lies.

The stakes you play should be in direct proportion to your bankroll. As a rule , you shoud only ever risk a MAXIMUM of 10% of your Bankroll at one time. So if the minumum buy in for a table is $20 and my bankroll is only $100, I would have to risk 20% of my bankroll to sit at that table. Its to much to lose if I get unlucky. However if I have $200 I can play at that table since it would only cost me 10% of my bankrol to play, (however it would still be a pretty bad loss if I busted, so usually I risk close to 5%). Never play in a game you cant afford. I've made that mistake a few times and so have some of the top pros, (such as Paul Wasicka).

Also, the table you described above either doesn't exist or is extremely rare. I've been playing for awhile now and I still haven't seen one.
