Default Opinions about Rigged Sites

I am sure most all of you have at least heard about the cheating at AP.
I am always curious about what people think. Do you think that there are some online sites that are rigged? If so why do you think that ? What can we as consumers do about it? Just curious what you think. Please check the poll on you way to the next thread.

If it can be proven as rigged the government will take care of it. Any rigging is stealing. The AP was by people other than the owners' of site. Disgrutaled relative and friends who had found access through an old founding account found when refiguring AP site with updates, if you read every thing instead of press releases.

Default so which site is secure?

I heard someone broke in but not that it was rigged? and that they gave the money back. What site do people think is the most secure?

In my mind it's not a question whether the site is rigged it's how many people have hacked in the system. As many sites that are out there, I'd find it hard to believe that the guy at AP was the only one and he just happened to get caught. There's more. Luckily they'd be stupid to waste their time at my stakes.

Cow, as far as the government goes. Who's going to bust them? The online poker division? Obviously here in the US if it's illegal in the first place why would they be looking for cheating?

I think the big name sites have a lot more security to them...therefore more customers..I'm a little leary of the little "offshore" ones.Who's watching these guys..don't know...Reputation means a lot to the big sites and they will do everything to protect that I think.

i beleive expecially in freerolls that the program is designed to give players hands to play and lose in order to move the tourny to a fast ending. i also feel that sites (not all of them) favor depositing players over freerollers.

That makes no sense, seeing as there are 20,000 tables running I'm pretty sure they don't care about moving freerolls right along. If they honestly cared one way or the other about this they would simply shorten the blind levels in freerolls. Be it freerolls or cash tournys they tend to end at the same blind levels based on how many people started the tourny and knocking out players doesn't move the blinds any faster.
