I just had thought. I'm tired so maybe it won't make sense when I'm more awake.
With RNGs online, the shuffle and deal - we are taking - to be totally random.
In a live game, possibly more so at home games where shuffling may be poor, do you think it's possible that we can get a subconscious 'feel' for what cards may likely fall?
At one time Blackjack players made good money by counting cards. A step beyond that was taken when players began to use observed patterns and sequencies in badly shuffled decks and they were able to spot when an Ace would fall - giving them a massive edge.
So my point is, do you think that when playing at a live game, we can pick up more of a feel for the cards and use predictability more than we might do when playing online?
No definate answer to that of course. Just a thought..
