Bad beat bet

I was playing random games with Mike and he told me if I gave him pocket aces to start with, he would give me 3-1 odds and I could choose any two cards I wanted. I chose the last two aces in the deck. After dealing out the community cards several times, he got a 4 card flush on me (the only way any of us would win) and took my dollar. I could've really used those 3 dollars too.
