Unhappy I lost with four of a kind!

I was playing in a $30 single-table tournament a while back, and I got dealt a decent hand-pocket sixes. There was about eight of us left in the tournament and I was at about 700 chips. Four of us stayed in. One guy threw in the minimum raise and I called. The flop came up Ace-Six-Six. I flopped four of a kind! The guy who raised bet 200. I went all in. He called. Next two cards were a three and an Ace. I've won, right? Nope, he throws up pocket aces to give him a higher four of a kind on the river! That one will haunt me forever.

that's poker. although you had the huge odds on him, he still had a 4.4% chance to catch up on the flop, and then on the turn a 2.3% chance to catch that case ace in the deck. that's just nasty.

wow, that's a nightmare situation. At least it wasn't a ring game, you could've lost a lot of money with that one.

Well....I had the same situation, but I won $495.

I had KK and the flop was K, 6, 2.....

Bob had 6,6
Tony had 2,2

The turn was a 6
The River was K

So they went all in after reraising and what not....and boom......
