a idea to help your nlhe game

recently i have been playing a lot more games other than nlhe i have been playing stud reg and hi lo horse and razz i think more people should do this as it teaches you how to read a hand better.As there is no all in button in any off these games you have to play poker you have to read players and hands you have to learn odds especially pot odds better
all off these things you can use in your nlhe game and another thing playing the same game all the time can get very boring
give it a try and see how all these other games can benefit your nlhe game what have you got to lose ps have lots off cheep buy in mtts in these games and there is another benefit they wont all be over in 1 hand so you get to play more poker for your buck

I would agree with this, I was watching Billy play in 3 tournaments today the razz one I found the most interesting - not a game i have ever played before.

I was trying to read what Billy had and what the other players had, He bubbled in that game - I missed that hand but HH is in the HH section and how they called him down after the way he had been playing the whole game is scary.

Goes to show you should watch the players and the cards - the got lucky on 7th street but they should not of been there in the first place.

I may play the next razz tourny Low buy in for a bit of fun and to improve my reads on players

How do you play Razz? I have heard of it but I have never seen it. I would enjoy playing something besides holdem all of the time.

7 stud but low hand wins. Can be fun, but be warned, even pros at the Razz FT at WSOP have been heard to mutter about what a depressing game it is and what the hell are they playing it for. Basically it is because your really wonderful hand can get busted so easy by catching a final pair on 7th street (and other such wonderful occurances). So there you were, betting like a maniac, and bang, the probable nuts is suddenly no hand.

The poker fairy, being the sadist that she is, is much in evidence at Razz tables.

Quite what it says about me that I enjoy the game I shall leave for others to judge

razz is a great game 1 little tip i never lead out the betting unless i have a made hand and unless my first 4 cards are low i wont get involved in a pot
