Just been sifting through some crap on a rival site so I won't be posting a link to give them more traffic but one of the players on there (Bel0wab0ve) who is currently ranked as the 5th best player online was talking about his rebuying in tournies.

He has spent $400 playing a $3 rebuy and his record and over $770 in the $10 rebuy! Madness!

They double rebuy each time the rebuy so always have $3k in chips then basically push coinflips everytime! My pityful bankroll wouldn't even able to withstand a $1 rebuy then!

It obviously works differently on-line. Re-buy tourneys are stock in trade for UK land casinos. The regulars there reckon 2 to 3 re-buys as normal, 10 and you are seriously on tilt. I think they might be appalled at manic activities described above.

Online rebuys are manic and apart from Party, earn the site no more than a normal tourney but attract more players (Party charges rake on their rebuys, LMFAO)

UK Casino's, well the one I have played at, have not a clue about poker and turn it to a crapshoot early doors. I've played a couple of times with Cadmunkey and his mates and you get 1000 chips and blinds start at 25/50. UK casino's take the piss.
