Default I'm digging limit!

I've been playing NL holdem for the last few months and losing my butt!! I switched to limit holdem recently, and I've doubled my bankroll!! Instead of losing $50/payday I've doubled it!!

I like limit too - particularly in tournaments or omaha 8/b. I think limit is much better for people with a strong ability at poker but poor bankroll management because so often in NL people will end up in repeated all ins that even with good play will eventually bust anyone who doesnt keep their bankroll in fairly tight check.

Admittedly most of the time i play in limit tourneys it is because i misread the label and thought it was NL lol - still I have made a hansome profit from these tourneys so I cannot complain.

I would caution people though about limit tourneys - they are quite different from normal limit and they take much longer than normal tourneys.

I like playing limit games too, in a strange way I think it has improved my no limit game. My favorite limit games are 7 card stud hi/low and omaha hi/low. Limit hold'em is o.k., but I have more success with the other two, especially 7 card stud.

Default nearly tripled it now...

Man... I've nearly tripled my $50! I know that's small potatoes for a lot of ppl, but I've won back nearly all of my "learning" losses

I'm playing the .50/1.00 tables, and it seems like that's where all the scared money is... I'm able to raise most opponents out of the pot..

i dont like limit hold em because i believe it allows a lot of people to chase and suck out. but i do enjoy 7 stud hi/lo, i have been very profitable at this gme and would like to see more of these tourneys out there.

Congrats on your success but you are way way above your bankroll. Really you should have 300xBB in your bankroll to play at a given limit. Therefore you should have $300 to play $0.50/$1.

When I played $0.50/$1 I sat down with $50 on each table, this would be your bankroll. Do not sit with your BR at the table

Why... you want to come and take it away from me?

I play at Party and Paradise sometimes, my screenname is the same as my screenname here...
