Default Definite evidence of BOTS on Party Poker

A friend emailed me to tell me about this. I spent a couple of hours yesterday reading through the entire thread and it's disturbing stuff. Especially for you tourney players there.
I've never liked party poker and I do even less so now...they dont give a monkeys about their customers.
Take a look here:

I've read a few articles on bots and most seem to agree that they are very very beatable but they are becoming more advanced. The fact they're venturing into NL and SnG's etc is quite worrying as they used to be mainly found in fixed limit as they are easier to programme.

The impression I get is that they won't bluff and they'll only play premium hands or mid pocket pairs and suited connectors when they have the right odds. They also never go completely all-in (leave around 5-10 chips) so people using the ICQ or whatever it is, can't see if calling them is +EV or not.

I've read a recent article on how to beat them, I'll hunt it down and post it on here later.

Some of the 2+2'ers started to sit down with these bots and figured out their playing style and beat them.
Main problem is most of the bots had ITM results of 45%+. Thats pretty damn good and isnt fair on the people the bot knocks out of the tourney especially the guy busting out one off the money.
Turns out Parties resolution to this is ceasing the cash from the bot accounts and using these funds to add to 'bonuses'. What BS..personally I think people should have tournies fees refunded etc. PP claim their site is a 100% safe secure environment in which to play poker, when in fact it is not.

I don't like how they handle this either but in a way I see Party's view on this.

Party scans your comuter for bots etc but these guys play through a server on a server and are not detectable to Party. They don;t play 24 hours a day and look like legit customers to them in the way they act.

As for the 45%ITM, I seriously believe that if you played Sklansky's system at the Party SnG's you'd achieve this

I'm not overly clued up but an ICQ is a program where you enter stack sizes of your opponents, your hole cards and possible cards for your opponents and it works out if you are in a +EV situation but you have to be totally all-in to get a clear result.

Leaving 5 chips to one side makes sure you can't use one of these programs against the bots

i have to say thats very disturbing. not only the presence of bots in such high numbers, but also PartyPoker's attitude toward the matter. i read that entire thread--60 pages lol, and it reinforces a lot of what i already believed about ring games and sng's. as long as they stay away from my lo limit deposit bonus clearing tables and freerolls i guess i dont have to worry.

I withdrew my money from Party after reading through that 60 page thread.

Heh, bots probably aren't entirely too great. I'd imagine it would be just like playing someone real.
