I have heard about this for a long time, and I only hear about it at party poker, I honestly don't see it as being so wrong, I mean if its legal to use an odds calculator or have an extra person helping you play your cards I dont see how this is much worse, my problem lies in collusion, now if they have bots working together that would scare me alot more. As for party claiming there winnings that is bs the money should go to the people and then they should be banned or it should be refunded to the losers I dont like the idea of a site claiming winnings that opens a nasty can of worms.

I havent seen this i never did like party poker myself. But if this is the case
then we are in a sorry state of affairs and if party is not taking this seriously thenit just opens the doors for other and on other sites. now you got me worried and im going to have to start timing everyone i play against. thanks for posting this info inever even thought about that possibility
thanks again

I know what you are saying, but with these bots having a ROI of 40%+ they are the equivalent of a highly skilled poker player. Plus the fact these bots have been entered into the same tournies..

I was just curious what the sites are doing to catch bots so far, it seems to me that it wouldnt be too hard to put in small safeguards to prevent this, Like having an icon appear a few times an hour requesting the user to type in a security code that appeared on screen or something like that, I dont know if this would work or not, or if they can program to fill those in as well.

By all accounts most of the bots play Sklansky's "System" which he discusses in "Tournement Poker for Advanced Players".

He goes as far as saying if you play it you will finsh ITM most times.

If you suspect there is a bot at your table, don;t get involved in a hand it's playing at.

The problem is that Party can't detect the as they run the bots through a server through a server so it looks like a legit player. Keep an eye out, report them here and take them down!
