Is it just me or is this guy incredible stupid. He makes dozens of mistakes each broadcast and seems to demonstrate less and less knowledge of the game each time. Some of the stuff he says is out of control. For example last night he said there were players at the final table from four continents. So I am guessing that means England and Greece are no longer part of Europe? Then he had the nerve to call (forgot his name) the Osama bin
Laden of poker.

I didn't hear any of that (watched it on mute and switching back and forth between chappelle show), but thats pathetic.

Does anyone know what he did to get to be an announcer? All I know is he placed in a couple tournaments.

I've heard that his family owns the production company that produces the WPT, but I'm not completely sure if that is true.

Darn if that's true we will have to listen to his nonsense forever.... Good thing there's a mute button.

vince van patten reminds me of joey from full house (no pun intended) or joey from friends the blonde semi good looking character thats dumb as s***.....and whats up with his infactuation with suited connectors????....if anything he does add contrast with his voice to mike sexton's "put me to sleep" monotone voice......however the WPT is awesome.....maybe next time they brodcast from foxwoods i'll be at the final table
