Question How many at your home game?

How many people do you prefer at your home game? I have a friend that won't play with less than 8. I prefer 6, but will play with a minimum of 5. Thought I'd ask how many people you play with. Would you rather play with a small number of people or large (to build the pots, but more competition)

At least 4 so the games are not boring. I have had a 10 table Texas game going which was hard to keep organized. The best games though are with my 6 regulars who all know how to play good solid poker. That is until people have a little too much to drink.

yeah, I prefer 6 or 7....any less and the game breaks up after an hour when the first person goes broke.......but now it is hard to get anyone to play these days. I dont like to play with anymore than 9 at a table.

I played an 8 person Tourney last, that would have worked well if everyone was solid poker players. Minimum of 5, max of 10 for me...

I prefer at least seven or eight minimum, but it tends to average five or six.

i'll play anywhere there is a game no matter the # of people so i dont have much of a preference but we have a lot of small games w/ 5-10 and then every couple months we have a big 27 man tourney with a bigger buy in.

Whenever me and my buddies get together to play theres usually 4 or 5 of us. Whenever we don't have plans we can sometimes get 7 or 8. I like it better with more players because you can play a little more conservative and you don't feel rushed into playing semi-decent hands.

Anywhere from 5-9 players. We usually play $5-$15.

Tourneys on the other hand, anywhere from 14-32, depending on location.

14 at my house. One guy asked if I was jewish, so I pointed towards my Christmas tree to give the answer. I ended up winning like 150ish.
