I just got confused, but I think I figured it out. Did your other friend have 10Q of diamond? I was trying to wrap my head around how he got the str8 flush with out a 10 and why there were 5 jacks.

Anyway, real tough beat. Could have won you a lot of money in Party Poker's bad beat rooms.

Oviously he did not have the nuts. Got to be careful reading the board, I know I've been in serveral situations where someone thought they had the 'nuts' but didn't.

I hit a great hand on Sunday.

I was dealt 4 8 hearts.
Flop is 2 3 5 hearts.
I wasn't too comfortable with an 8 high flush, so I placed a large bet to scare away the campers. One person called.
Turn is Ace hearts. My first reaction was "crap, someone hit a higher flush than me." Then I realize what I have. I check.
River is Jack hearts.
He checks to me and I place a large bet. He calls. He shows King h. Nut flush.
I show my straight flush. (I like the sound of those words!)

I wish he would have reraised, but he said he had a feeling that I had the 4.
I don't think I let off any tells, but who knows. I had never hit such a monster hand before. I was kind of in shock.
