Talking Money in your pocket...

Last night my daughter stopped by the house while I was playing the 80k tournament and a freeroll at the same time. Apparently she was so impressed watching me play (of course she is biased) that she begged me to come out with her to the casino and play poker while she played the slots. Not having any money to throw away she insisted on staking me with $80. After some persuading I said yes and unregistered from 2 more games I was due to play. I really do prefer live games, but NL cash games aren't something I play a lot of. I sat at a $1/2 NL and in 2 hours tripled her money. I only got involved in 4 pots and took them all down. When my daughter saw what I had she asked me to leave the table. I was happy to do so and walking out the door she said, "now doesn't it feel good to have the money in your pocket." lol...guess she had a point.

Nice one CLC! That's probably one of those questions that I've never heard answered. When is enough when you're ahead? I kinda go by my gut but I'm sure there's a better stratagy.

If I'm multi-tabling I tend to play for an hour or two then move and that seems to be working. In that case I'm generally up on a couple and down on a couple and the longer I wait the larger the variance. It seems to be easier to manage the different tables if I know where "par" is. I'm not big on reloading when down a little like some but maybe that's a better idea as well.
