What a very cute story Wisak. I can totally relate to that and her. I love horses, I had riding lessons growing up! Something I will never forget. Horse are beautiful animals and I do agree they dont need to be whipped ( i know I will catch hell for this but oh well)

His first 3 races included only one graded race. No offense but they were no where near secretariat like performances. Big browns last had a 106 beyer Secratariat had a 139 for the belmont stakes. No horse has even come close.

Yes I have been to all three triple crown races as well as

Wood memorial (at least 6 times)
Breeder's Cup (3 times)
Remsen
Florida Derby
Travers (6 times)

A few other big races which slip my mind after 5 margaritas. Oh and shot 68 today on 2nd round of year.

68? thats a dam good score, i dont shoot that low ever. I am so frustrated with my putting that now i literally put with just the nose of the putter like a pendulem. If i could ever make a dam put i might break par some day. Oh wait i did have a 68 a couple times, too bad it was only after 16 holes though. I need to find one of those laser putters like dangerfield had in caddyshack then i will be unstoppable. U know what they say though, drive for show and put for dough. Too bad i cant just check raise some tourist with nothing when its time for me to put, instead of having to put a 5 footer for par.

I'm not too concerned yet. Am negotiating getting a green in my backyard now with sand trap so I'll be ready.

What an awsome race this magnifecent horse Big Brown ran. It was just a terrible shame to see Eight Bells a beautiful philly with the heart of a champion break down after the race. The philly ran so hard she shattered her front 2 ankles and was immediatley euthanized after the race, Eight Bells was the only 1 to challenge Big Brown. Big Brown was just way too much horse for any of the them today. Looks like Visa will be paying that Triple Crown money out this year.

I agree with gimme about Big Brown, certainly lived up to all the hype. After watching the race I'm convinced that starting 20th was a big help for him as several other "favorites" got bunched up right at the beginning. The scary part about Big Brown was that you could see his jockey holding him back but once he let him go man did he explode past the field. Can't wait for the Preakness and the Belmont.

I feel so, so bad for Eight Bells and all the people associated with her. Man I hate to see that.
