Wow...what an awesome day I had at the casino yesterday!!

Most Thursday's I play a $10 MTT at a local casino. The way I look at it...some people go to the movies, I go play poker. It is my matinee.

I won it the first time I ever played and haven't faired as well the last 5 attempts. Yesterday I chopped 2 ways ($144 each) after everyone at the final table got $20. I was told because of my huge chip lead I should have asked for a bigger cut. Na....I am just in it to enjoy myself and I believe in karma.

Well as karma would have it, I decided for the first time to stay and play the $50 Bounty MTT. I went to the final table with a very healthy chip stack. We got down to 8 players when someone suggested an 8 way chop for $196 each and we all agreed. Now, this is where karma came into the picture. This deal was made 2 hands after I took a bad hit when a player caught a gut shot straight draw after calling my all-in with top pair. Yes, I was the short stack after that and no one said lets play it out for awhile hoping to get my share of the cut. THAT"S KARMA....lol.

Win or lose I have a great time there. They love seeing me come in since I am a generous tipper and make sure I take care of everyone.

what a great day Cat! I am also willing to chop live, tho never have I done it with 8 left! My biggest chop was 5. Karma plays a role for sure tho, the 2 times I have gotten down to heads up, and wanted to chop (pretty even in chips, getting close to supper time) and the guy/girl would't chop, I won it all!!

Wow congrats !!! I should try to get to a casino one of these weekends... I love live tournaments, so much mor fun than playing on the computer.
