Good point Cat...I heard of dealers misdealing spade royal flushes...and do you know what, they didn't even fork over $50,000 out of their pocket to the player that they phucked for $50,000!!...if you misdealt that Fink, would you have forked over the $50,000....But I do remember when I won my $29,000 for hitting the spade royal flush...they sure hand their hand out for a 10 - 20% tip as if I only got the str8 flush because of them!...they didn't get the 10-20% and I was actually too generous when I gave him a flat $1,000.00...A hand does not take that long to deal...that is a pretty good hourly rate!...I say give me the money that you ripped out of my hand when you misdealt me or took my raise away!

A dealer need s to be absolutely sure a player has chcked before he gos to the next player to act. I see this happening all the time with weak dealers, they just sit there in there cushioned seat flicking cards and day dreaming, paying barely no attention at all to how the game is run.Hell ive sat in games where i have actually taken over the game and run it, this is with a live dealer at the table. It is absolutely rediculous if u ask me. And these so called panhandlers always walk away with nice tips, most of them make about 80$ an hour and thats a fact, they are not worth even half this amount if u ask me. And anybody in their right mind will tell u this my friend.I think all dealers should be put on a set hourly wage, and all these handouts or tips they get should be banned for life. I think a good hourly rate for the dealers should be about 10 bucks an hour. They dont do anything anyway, but sit in the airconditioning and flick cards on the table to the players.I would also pass a new law , whenever a dealer costs a player money out of a pot he will be responsible to pay the player what he should have had coming to him.By doing this it will eliminate all the weak incompitent dealers and then we can raise the hourly rate of the rmaining dealers to 50$ an hour, but still no tipping/

how does this sound, perfect

Bold on the "have you"? Why in any scenario would they?

We understand that you just wanted to make sure he remembered... that is exactly what makes you a rude old man.

You come up with the silliest points which aren't even arguable yet you still try... lol.

A hand is still played out if a card is flubbed, so the fact that a dealer may misdeal a Royal proves that a player could just as easily end up with a Royal because of a misthrown card on the deal. If that happened to you, since you apparently want the $50K out of the dealers pocket, would you tip the dealer at least $25,000 since you wouldn't have made the hand if it wasn't for his mistake?

Cat, I can certainly understand the way you feel about dealers but not one thing you have said justifies the way your buddy treated the guy.

Alrighty... this, officially, is the stupidest thing I have ever heard in a poker forum. It's a damn good thing you are good at poker, thats about all I have to say on the matter.

As far as rudeness...a dealer is an hourly employee just as a Wallmart employee...no worse no better...he does not set the rules for the game or the rules for the cardroom...he depends on the players for added income and does not get the added income when he phuckes the player...the dealer needs to respect the player more than the player respecting him...I never heard of a dealer tipping a player....HAVE YOU!

BY THE WAY THE TWO INCIDENTS WERE EARLY IN THE TOURNAMENT...I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT HE REMEMBERED!

Rudeness is OK when you get phucked by an hourly employee!...and don't kiss you afterwords!
Ok,so your post didnt give enough information,I see

Now if you told him all that during the game,do you think he would have known afterwards why he didnt get a tip?

Or is it that all us hourly wage people are too simple minded to understand the all mighty proffesional wanna bes?

Simple question for Crapshoot, gimme and cat... please, no elaborate spin into another topic, a simple yes or no will do.

Here is the question, are you ready?

Was what Crapshoot did to the dealer at the end of the tourny rude?

C'mon, at least one of you can answer the question... let's hear it

A misdealt hand is a dead hand and that is the end of it...the player did not misdeal it...the dealer did...there is only one small thing that happens in the dealers eye...the player doesn't get the $50,000...but if the dealer deals it correctly then he expects a tip...because he did the job that he is paid to do!

In all other forms of business the employee is fired if he does not do the job that he is paid to do!
