| | | | Rude...Rude, he was fckn Rude to me!
Dealers don't own the casino...they are not even in the game...they need to be polite to those that are in the game and have money in the game...and most of all they need to do their JOB!!!

In your ego driven mind you may think he disliked you, had some kind of grudge against you and was secretly enjoying screwing you over but I can tell you from experiance, the vast majority of the time that is not the case. The guy made a mistake, if you want to not tip him because of it thats fine, no problem. Shoving it in his face that you are stiffing him IS rude.

| | | | No I don't think he had it in for me and the first time he made a big mistake called playing with my stack a check...but then after I got on him about it he comes right back a few hands later and called my flicking the corner of my hole cards a check.....I always do that when I am thinking and holding my hole cards and it was not a double flick it was continuous flicking...show me a poker book that says playing with a chip stack or flicking the tips of your cards is checking and I will look up that MFK'r and apologize!

| | | | Well, I cannot add anything else to this post, as it looks like crapshoot has covered it all. Well put crapshoot, all of your points are right on the money. Crapshoot this fink fella is a bit of a nutjob you cannot tell him anything, good luck trying. | |

Me on the other hand,I partially blame Crapshoot for the second time, and he was probably lucky there wasnt a 3rd.
If he said this to the dealer after the first one,Ill say Im wrong, Quote:

But I doubt he said that to him, simply for the fact he had to tell the dealer after the game why he wasnt getting a tip.

I don't follow what you are trying to say since that is the only point I tried to make. You can argue that Crapshoot had every right to be rude to the dealer if you want, but I don't think the fact that he was rude is in question.
Lets see, I have a couple of examples for you...
I once dealt Baccarat to a couple for about 45 minutes. In that time they turned $2000 into $50,000 and didn't tip me a penny. Is that rude? I don't see it as being rude, there are many people who don't tip dealers, cocktail waitresses, valet... they are certainly cheap but it isn't rude.
Another time a guy came to my table with a $5000 chip. Over the course of 20 minutes he turned it into 6 figures. After gathering up his chips he stood up, took out his wallet, placed a $1 bill on the table, smiled and walked away. And knowing the guy as a regular, it is safe to say that he knew exactly what he was doing (just as Crapshoot made it perfectly clear with his comment before leaving). It's these people who you just shake your head at as you think to yourself, what the hell is wrong with people?
Dealers make mistakes, and since Crapshoot said he's sure the guy wasn't out to get him then it's safe to assume that is all they were.

As far as rudeness...a dealer is an hourly employee just as a Wallmart employee...no worse no better...he does not set the rules for the game or the rules for the cardroom...he depends on the players for added income and does not get the added income when he phuckes the player...the dealer needs to respect the player more than the player respecting him...I never heard of a dealer tipping a player.... HAVE YOU!
BY THE WAY THE TWO INCIDENTS WERE EARLY IN THE TOURNAMENT...I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT HE REMEMBERED!
Rudeness is OK when you get phucked by an hourly employee!...and don't kiss you afterwords!

| | | | crapshoot ur absolutely right there are alot of weak dealers out there and they need to learn to do their job right.I would never tip a dealer if he makes several mistakes in a game that i am in. I have had incompitent dealers cost me thousands of dollars because they dont know what the hell they are doing at the table. If a dealer does a great job in the game i have no problem tipping them a small percentage, but they really do nothing more than just flick the cards to the players. They sit there in there chair and flick cards and they all want handouts at the en d from the winner. These dealer s all get paychecks just like walmart workers so they need to quit whining. These dealers in casinos are one step above a panhandler on the street corner. | |

| | | | Is the dealer gonna give me some money when he drops a 3 outter on my head? never heard of that, but they sure act like they help u when they put ur card out to win a huge pot dont they?and they expect a big tip for socalled helping u with the flush card they put out for u.I say just go to electronic dealers and theyre would never be any mistakes on the felt.and no more pissing and moanig about handouts and tips.
