Question Myrtle Beach Gambling Cruise

In June, me, my best friend, and our girlfriends are going down to myrtle beach for 4 days and I heard that there is a gambling cruise ship with a poker room in it somewhere in myrtle beach. I have no information on this though and if anyone has been on it please give me some feedback or information on it (minimum age, cost for entry, limits that are spead, exact location, etc.).

All help is greatly appreciated,
- Bass

That's a lot of questions to answer but I'll try a few.

SunCruz Casino - Oceans Casino Cruises for Key Largo, Port of Palm Beach, Port Canaveral, Daytona, Jacksonville, and Myrtle Beach, Little River, South Carolina

I'd recommend staying at the Sleep Inn 843-249-4848. It's close, they'll give you a free pass and the bus will pick you up right at the hotel.

I don't recommend playing in their tournaments. It's a super-turbo because it's only a 3 hour trip. The one time I went they crammed 14 people at a table and the blinds went up so fast that after one revolution the BB was half my stack. Not worth my $120.

The cash games start after the tournament starts breaking down. I forget the stakes but I think it's 1/2 NL or 5/10 NL. I have friends that play the cash games there a lot and there's always plenty of action and generally a lower skilll level so I haven't heard many people losing money.

Good luck! Keep us posted on how it goes.

I really appreciate the help dinero. Unfortunately I don't think we will be staying at the hotel you mentioned as we are on a budget. One thing I couldn't seem to find anywhere was the cost of the trip or is it $125 as you mentioned earlier?

Thanks,
- Bass

The trip is like $30 or something. $125 was for the tournament. It's painfully easy to get a free trip. You just have to look. In fact, if you went in on the hotel with 4 people you'd probably come out ahead since they'd give you free passes.
