aurite mate. welcome to the site.

there are a few sites outt here that i'd recommend...

partypoker.com - by far the largest poker site online, it is always packed with players
and the setup is pretty professional.

victorchandler.com - decent site, setup is not the best but the tournament section of
the site is pretty good. (lots of tournaments with pretty low
numbers in them) also a 25% sign up bonus.

gamingclubpoker.com - decent setup, quite good tournaments i found. i mentioned this
site as when you sign up you get $15 for nothing, you dont
even have to give bank details. also if you sign up for the $15
you get an entry into the rookie freeroll.

pokerroom.com - the best setup and software i've came across on the net by far. also
have quite alot of players on the site.

hope this helps.

I'd do what fonz suggests. download some of the ones you like the look of and play for about an hour on each on the play money tables to see if you enjoy the layout and the functions on them. I know it sounds silly but there are some sites I can't play on because I don't like the sound they use for the chips and things like that. I play on ultimatebet, empire and partypoker although I spend 90% of my online time at www.uk-poker.com which is run by victor chandler. I know a lot of people don't like the software they use but it was the first site I played on, I like it, it's got good tournaments, freerolls and easy low / mid stakes no-limit tables
