Default Getting beat by a full house when you have a flush

im very concious about possible full houses when i have or am attempting to get a flush

but this was frustrating

ive got king and ace of diamonds

flop comes Qd, 8d, 2d (straight away ive got highest flush possible)

two guys all in - i call them (i was chip leader at table)
one guy was bluffing the other guy had a queen and a two

turn and river come queen and two giving the second guy a full house!!!

he basically went all in on a pair and beat my flush at the flop by getting a full house on the turn and river

sometimes i wonder why i play this game!!!

Though looking at that hand read over it again. You flopped the nut flush he flopped 2p. It was a good move on your part, and a play I may or may not have made if I was him I would have to set at the table and see who my oponents were and how they played. Though all the really need was another Q or 2 to amek his full you already had the best hand. One question you ask yourself would you play the hand the same way again? I would say I would 100% of the time.

Default

yeah i definately would
i cant remember how many people were at the table to get exact odds - but the chances of him getting 2 of the 4 cards he needed were slim

thats poker i guess - suppose its easier to remember the times you get burned at the river than the times it works out for you
