Default Is Party Poker Behind the Curve?

My dad has racked up an absurd number of frequent player points or whatever they're called at Party and I'm playing one of those Player's Club freerolls right now. now I normally play at Stars, and more recently JetSet and Tilt, and in my opinion Party has really fallen behind.

1) The avatars have not changed in years while other sites allow you to choose several different kinds, put your own in, etc.

2) If someone is sitting out there's no way to tell. Every other site I've played at has some indication when a player sitting out. At Party you see him fold his hand, but you really don't know.

3) In the MTT lobby, there's no rankings. You can't tell where you stand overall in chips. All you can do is estimate based upon the average chips compared to your stack. JetSet has made it to the point where your rank is listed next to your avatar at the table.

4) They start you with a grand in chips in MTT, and only 800 in SNG tournies. Not sure if this is a sign of falling behind necessarily, but I always like having a few more chips to throw around from the start.

Now I'm not trying to totally bash the folks at PartyPoker as they offer a bunch of great deals at the tables and some good deposit and refer bonuses. I'm looking more at the gameplay and the "frills" for lack of a better word.

Any PartyPoker faithfuls want to chime in?

couldnt care less about the avarars
their sngs have always started you with 800 chips so you need to adjust your game accordingly

its still lacking some things but for me party is still one of my fave sites - the reload bonuses are fantastic and theres more tables to choose from than any other site

It is soooo not a clean interface, there arent a ton of sites that are though. There are many better sites, like ps, ft, and js.

I wouldn't say that PP has the BEST bonuses... One site was giving 1000% !! O_O;

But yeah, It's probably the best. I'm considering transfering money from Empire - Party if it is possible.
