My advice is don't think about it too much, or will you get overanxious. I do that all the time when I play in big tournies. I try to bluff more often and I blow it. So try to remain calm. GL man!! ~ Biggs

Good Luck man. I hope you do well. Just play your game and try and relax. Way to go.

No your right Franky, play that easy...the only reason I played it strong was because he was stealing my blinds...I did not want a showdown.

One piece of advise, start off supertight, relax and don't play afraid of losing...because if you do...YOU WILL LOSE

The very best of luck to you!

I disagree, come out a bit stronger. Just think. All of the players in that tornament know what they are doing and they will all do the same. Take adantage of this and steal a few early blinds. But if you ge aught trying to steal or bluff. Play tight will u get a new table.

The thing I have going for me is that I have ZERO dollars invested in this thing ( I got third in my first 7$ toruney and won 14$ for 3 place. Then I used those winnings to enter another 7$ tourney that I won that and then won another satellite in which I was entered for free cause I won the 7$) so that really helps alot, it will help me put it in perspective....so no matter what, I will get big ( well, fairly big) tournament experience for free....so, I guess you could say that I REALLY have nothing to lose...literally and figuratively

I diagree strongly Stokenut...yes most are good players and believe me they will call you, they aren't going to let you buy pots...plus you will still have some idiots in there that feel the only way to win is by starting off being the tournament leader and will make crazy plays to get there.
The players eliminated count at the beginning runs just as fast in these tournaments as it does in a normal tournament.
What you need to do is view the beginning of a major tournament, if you can, beforehand.

Congratulations! You got this far by playing how you normally play. Stick with what works for you.
