Cleared my Party Bonus - you gotta love when they put up bonuses

took advantage of the party january reload bonus.

One thing i didnt like was that you had play the raked hands within 7 days.

I deposited $290 and started playing at the $0.50/$1 tables. After playing a while on friday i realised that i would have to play a lot of hands to get the bonus (406 to be precise).

Ive took a contract job which starts this week - ill also be out all day on wednesday for my best friends fathers funeral - in short, i dont have much time this week for poker. So when i got from the pub last night i played for about 5 hours - was up so late i missed training - doh!!

So in 2 days i got my balance up to $336.73 - that coupled with the $58 bonus brings me up to $394.73

Im actually a little dissapointed i didnt make a lot lot more - i was concerned about not being able to play this week and lose the bonus so i was playing a lot looser than usual just so my raked hands went up. But i had to get more raked hands so im glad i did (i would have been well pissed off getting 300 raked hands out of 400 and then losing it due to me being busy this week)

ive read that empire have a lot more reload bonuses (they connect to the party tables as well) so ill hopefully be able to repeat this in the next month or so.

if i do have time this week - probably on monday or friday im gonna deposit another $75. I might as well take advantage of the reload - plus i wont have that many raked hands to play to get the bonus.

In future i hope im not against the clock to get the bonus

yeah, bonuses should be as big a part of your game as anything else in my opinion. Afterall, it's free money. It can also be a valuble part of your bankroll increments. For example, I've made $70 at Absolute this week through bonuses. That's a lot of money and comes in very handy. I will be moving around from now on to take advantage of as many bonuses as possible

Just this week i got a bonus for TAF15. I enjoy the many bonuses of this site. thats why i play it.

Having never deposited money in on Online Poker site, I just have to ask this about the bonuses: When they say raked hands, would joining a table and folding ten times (incluidng the two blinds that will pass you by), count as ten hands, or only the ones in which you are part of the action?

Yea I have never deposited online. I have just had people put money on the site for me. I heard it is a great way to make money though.
