Default Party Poker - free $50

Hi - I know I'm kinda new to playing poker and all that, and I'm pretty sure that most of you have Party Poker's software installed.

I came across this ad while browsing through the many different sites, and I want to know how "secure" and trustworthy Party Poker is?

Are they ~legit~?
Is this a scam?

they are offering $50 to new registrants

I'm going to try it out, but I would like to know if anyone has had any problems with Party Poker?

thanks -

~moi~

I'm downloading now, and yeah - I did use the link here on the forums. If needed, I'll post their offer.

Thanks for the insight :-)

While I'm thinking about it, here's the offer.

We will call you within 5 days to confirm your account details
Once we approve you, we will transfer $50 into your Party Poker account
Party Poker will deposit another $25 as soon as you have played 500 raked hands. (You have 30 days to play 500 raked hands)
The money is your to keep after 500 raked hands! You also get to play in the $5000 New Player FreeRoll

Well, I found out that it isn't a scam, but you have to make a minimum deposit of $50 to get the $50.

Like most sites, I guess :-)

happy gaming, everyone!

Ok, I didn't read the entire 60 page thread, but I understand the point being made.

I'm still curious as to what a "bot" is, though.
I feel anyone and everyone is ~beatable~, I don't care what kind of game you're playing - everyone is beatable.

imho
