Default Headhunter Tourneys

Has anyone ever entered any of the headhunter Hold'em tourneys at Jetset? I'm thinking of trying them out and wondered if anyone had any experience with them. It sort of seems cool that you get paid when you take someone out it might mean I make some money even if I suicide choke on a bad decision mid to late in the tourney

if youre talking about single table tourneys then it really is a bad idea, i played one of those and the players were so bad it was incredible, also, youre not really benefeiting from coming in any position exept 2nd or 1st, unless you take out a few heads (average head is only something like $1.95) and 3rd position only gets $5, with first only getting $10, this sucks for a $45 prize pool and i would rather place 3rd in a regular sitngo and take the $9 gurantee, with something like $22.50 for 1st, youre betting much better value for your money

p.s im sure that multi table tourneys are much better value for money with these headhunters because most of the leaderboard players play these and some have up to $10 bounties on their head

THF Player of the Year
Head Hunters doesn't seem like it is just money for the top places. It looks more like it is just for fun and add a little extra excitement to the game we already love.

At texasholdemforums they have a bounty tournament tomorrow (thursday) which works like a HH. If you want you can check it out.

Which message base on THF are the bounty tournaments discussed in? I can find info on a double shootout tourney but don't see anything on a bounty tournament. If you could direct me to the right place I would appreciate it.

I have played both tourney and single tables. I won $96.14 for an $11.00 Investment in a tournament of only 37 people (thats coming in first with multiple heads ). I also Like the single $5.50 tables but dont count on taking someone out every time. If you want to get Ranked you have to play in the tournaments, not the single tables.( Ranking raises your bounty ) So if you do decide to play-go for the tourney's , more people and a better pay off.
