Default Anyone like Pai-Gow on Jetset?

I played it on there a little bit for money. Doesn't really require any skill at all from what I learned the time I play. Still havent figured out what the dice are for though, can anyone help me out with that?

The dice determine where the Action button is set. The Action button determines who gets paid first by the dealer. So in a situation where a player is dealer (not Prop Banker Lee) and only covers 50% of the bets, then the player with the Action button gets paid first and so on clockwise. The Action button is really more relevant in tournaments than just sitting at a table with a house banker (he covers the rest of the bets when players deal anyway).

The only time it's really ever worth my while to play is during the high hand periods at Jetset.

Ok, you're kidding right? You do know he's the house banker?

Jetset farms out their PaiGow to a foreign company and they provide the dealers, etc. But!!! He has spoken to me in the past when I've been the only one in the room and I was totally freaked out. I thought they were bots, lol.

I did't know he was a house banker. LOL

I thought he was just always online playing and had no other life.

So, is it always the same person? Does the foreign company split the rake with JetSet or something? Who keeps the money that he wins?

You've got my curiosity going. Tell me everything you know.

JetSetPoker has retained an independent third party organization to provide proposition services to enable real money Pai Gow Poker games to be fully banked ("Proposition Banker" or Prop Banker Lee). This company is a distinct, non-affiliated organization with expertise in providing banking services for Asian games in brick and mortar ("B&M") card rooms in North America.

A standard offering in brick and mortar card rooms, the Proposition Banker affords players the assurance that their action will be covered and a game shall be readily available.

They have some rules to follow:

The Proposition Banker is to pay rake according to the governing schedule for Pai Gow Poker. Since the Proposition Banker is not to wager in the capacity as a player, the bank shall not rotate clockwise around the table until more than two (2) players have joined a game. The Proposition Banker shall occupy seat one (1) at any real money Pai Gow Poker game and will be clearly identified to all players. When the seated player is to bank the game and not cover all bets their hand shall be automatically set House Way. Players that bank the entire game can set their own hand or choose House Way.

So, is it always the same person? Does the foreign company split the rake with JetSet or something? Who keeps the money that he wins?
I doubt seriously that it's always the same person. JetSet doesn't say what their financial agreement with the company is... so I can't answer that part, lol.

Hey Cynful, you are a good writer and seem to know a lot about Jetset poker. Parentsite Texasholdemforums holds a competition: who writes the best review (poker related). You should check it out. There's already a Jetset review, but I'm sure you can write a better one or about something that has not been reviewed yet.

Details can be found here:
