First of all, I think razz is really fun. Second, it is played the same way as 7 card stud. Of course in stud you get dealt 2 down cards and one up card. Then 3 more up cards all dealt separatly with betting in between and then the last down card. The winner is the player who makes his best 5 card low hand. For razz, suits and straights dont matter. The best hand is the Wheel, which is A2345. King is the highest and worst card. For example, A234K would lose to 89TJQ because the highest card in the first hand, King, is higher than the highest in the 2nd hand, Queen. Also, a hand like A5679 would beat A567T because the 9 would beat the 10. If the two highest cards are the same, then you go to the third highest card. 23478 would beat 23578 because the 4 beats the 5. Hopefully you get the picture. Planet Poker used to offer this as a play money table, but I don't think the do anymore. I'm not sure what online sites do offer this.

Planet Poker should have it, but maybe they don't anymore. I don't have Planet Poker, so I wouldn't know for sure.

No qualifier either. Unlike most hi/lo games that require an 8 to make a low hand, it doesn't matter if you have a 9 or 10 that is one of your 5 lowest cards. This game is genetically engineered to give you a headache.

As far as starting hands in razz go I generally stay away from anything that has 7 or higher just like any game where a low hand is an option. Assume at a full table (8) you'll be looking at winning hands where the high card is 9 or lower.

If you're looking to play, check out JetSet. I know they have it, but it's really hard to find a game.

Razz=total opposite of any other game. LOWEST hand wins. It is a very crule and unsual game. I tried once and ended up fliping my tbl over and kicking it. But after words we went back to Hold Em' and i won back my money and then some

Razz is the Bomb! Just try to get the lowerst posable cards (2 - 8) without getting a pair or any other sets. You play it like 7 card stud.
