This version of poker is very similar to spoons in a way
First, each player is dealt 7 cards. A round of betting ensues, and then each player passes 5 of their cards to the player to their left. Then, another round of betting, followed by each player passing 4 cards to their left. The cycle is repeated until each player passes 1 card, then the final round of betting and then the winner is determined. (best 5 card hand)
This game is great for home games. The game is really unpredictable and it's amazing to watch players have to break up a royal flush because they have to pass 3 to the left, etc. There are LOTS of low straights, low flushes, full houses, and sets and 4 of a kinds. The higher cards are harder to pair etc. because they're desirable and one must really watch what cards they're passing to their opponent to avoid possible 3 of a kinds, full houses, etc.
This game also can make one get broke very easily due to 6 rounds of betting.
