Razz is played exactly like Seven card stud. However, the worst 5 card poker hand wins the pot.
Suits are irrelevant, and, depending on what variation you play, rules can vary slightly. For example,
Sometimes 34567 can be counted as 7 hi (said 7 Low in razz). Other times, this would be a terrible hand because a straight is a terrible razz hand.
Also, sometimes an ace is considered to always be high. Thereby making the best Razz hand 23456, or, if playing straights are counted as such, 23457.
However, the razz seen in the WSOP allows aces to be played low, with straights and flushes not counting as such. Therefore, A2345 is the "wheel" and the unbeatable hand.
If you play this game, you WILL pull your hair out. So annoying when dealt 2345 and you end up getting K, 4,5, so your best hand ends up being King low. SOOOOOO IRRITATING!
On the other side, I don't know about Pan. Sorry. |
