i have played the game and its very tough. you are dealt 4 cards and there are 5 cards dealt face down which everybody uses. ok u make 2 rows of 3 with the community cards placing on card in the middle which is part of both rows hence the name "cross". so then u can only use 2 cards in your hand and one of the rows to make your 5 card hand. the trick to the game is there are 6 betting rounds because you only turn over one community card over at a time and then bet after each one is turned over. but the middle card must be turned over last because it makes both rows complete and is the most important card. the other 4 cards can be turned over in whichever order the dealer chooses. its a very tough game usually one pair takes the pot, any more questions on it just post another question on it.

I've played this game, it is a lot of fun! (of course i say this because I was the big winner) My first hand I won a $45.00 pot - the pots get bigger because there is more betting going on. Teedough did a great job of explaining how the game works. I would suggest you try it.

You have to pay increasing amounts for every card you see as the cross goes round.

For example:

west flip=$0.25
north flip=$0.50
east flip=$0.75
south flip=$1
middle=$1.25

Great for home games with buddies and especially when you are in the midst of getting intoxicated.

btw betting rounds are in addition to each "fee" for seeing a new card, so 6 betting rounds and 6 antes. Could see some massive pots.
