Default 5 Card Draw Question

Ok, I was in a little dealers choice game recently, and on my deal the game is 5 Card Draw, J's or better to open, trips to win. $.25 ante, dollar max bet, 3 bet limit. The guy on my right opens for $1, and I look down to see A-A-A-10-9. I just call (no reason to scare everyone away), as does the other 4 people. On the discard, every player at the table (before me) takes 2 cards. The guy on my right has at best a lower set. Luckily, no one is paying attention, and I stand pat. Two checks, one guy bets $1, the guy on my right raises to $2, I cap it at $3, and get a couple of callers. My trip Aces win a decent little pot. Now to the question:

How many should I draw if they are paying attention? Two cards means I might have trips, and 1 card (keeping the ten) makes it look like I'm drawing to a straight or a flush. The reraise then makes it look even more like I've hit whatever I was drawing to, to further scare everyone. Just looking for ideas.

Well, first off, I would've drawn at least one, if not two, if for no other reason than trips aren't gonna win every time. Someone could draw a straight or flush, and all of a sudden you're down a couple dollars. Now, in this scenario, if everyone is drawing two, are you putting everyone on trips? Not at all, the most likely scenario is they have a pair with a decent kicker, or they might have 3 to the straight/flush and are looking to get a little lucky. So, draw two like the rest of the crowd.

I would draw one there. While your hand is typically going to be good, drawing 1 will give you a better profit over time by letting you fill up once in a while.

As for the image it presents: possibly 2 pair, or a straight/flush draw. You can probably get good action against a low set who talks himself in to believing you have 2 pair.

i would say draw one just like you did because then they think your on a draw but if u re-raise the will proboly think you have hit your draw
