Default Pool poker

Anyone tried this? I read about it yesterday. Sounded fun! It's maybe more kind of a pool game than a poker game, but it's cool to try out. The thing is that you play with a 5 card draw hand, and youre supposed to sink the balls that's represented by cards in your hand. When you've sunk your entire hand, you won.

maybe you take out the face cards and ace and just play with the ones that have numbers. or the 11-15 balls may be coordinated with them. haha, i dont know,im just talking here.

lol, wouldn't the 1 ball represent an ace? That would make most sense to me, and ray i think your suggestion would make a lot of sense, keep it simple, having 2-10 all the numbered cards, then having 11 as J, Q as 12, and K as 13. It sounds like a pretty fun game, but I think you would need to know a lot more about the game, like the rules, to try it out first.

I have played this type of game when you have a number of people that want to play pool. Great when you pull pairs, only have to sink 1 ball.

I have actual seen a deck of cards that was specifically for this. Had pool balls on it rather than normal A-K suited.
