The THF midweek league is home to some of the best players at TexasHoldemForums. Twice a week members battle it out at PokerStars trying to reach one of the 9 places in the final.
Here are the details you need to know if you would like to play
Name of League : THF Midweek League
Hosted at :PokerStars Passwords, details and common questions answered in the :League Discussion Room Weekly Day & Time : Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4pm ET and 10pm ET (to suit both North American and European based players)
Final Day & Time : The final is played on the first sunday at 5pm after the last league game of that month.
Best Players Share $250 & Additional Prizes
The results of each game will be tracked on the site and the league points will be calculated.
The formula we will use is :
Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)]
Where:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
A seperate league is used for the 4pm and 10pm games
* Points are gathered seperately for both league games so anyone can play in both games if they wish
* 6 Players from the 10pm league and 3 players from the 4pm league will advance to the final
* The sunday after the last thursday will be the final day and would be played at 5pm ET between 6 players (so technically the sunday could be at the start of the next month). If a player cant make it then they can designate someone in their place.
