Default Republican Party wants to criminalize online gambling

Republican Party wants to criminalize online gambling

For your information, the Republican party wants to criminalize online gambling. This is directly from the Republican Party Platform. It's right here:

Internet Gambling

Millions of Americans suffer from problem or pathological gambling that can destroy families. We support the law prohibiting gambling over the Internet.

For all of our non-US members, this is a pivotal election. This is about electing one of the most powerful people on Earth. If you know of any US ex-pats - make sure they are voting come November.

They support the law it says. I'm not that well up on it but don't you already have a law in place?

As for the rest of the words in that link, it seems a pretty standard
and fair manifesto.

If we vote McCain for president we will never get the online gambling law changed here in the US. It is crucial to vote in Obama if we want that changed as well as continuing to write in support of online gambling change to our Senetors and Congressman. What muddies the water is that we (most of us) don't see poker as gambling. If black jack or roulette or any other lotto type gambling were prohibited it wouldn't be an issue (at least for me). Poker is thrown in with online "gambling". I will swing my vote any way I can to get this changed. As usual, our Presidential election is down to the better of 2 evils. McCain being in support of prohibiting online gambling made my choice an easy one. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!!!

It's little to do me with me, but I'd side with the Democrats too. I just didn't think the original post made sense

Sure who'd vote for McCain anyway...he's trying to rape Obama like he's trying to rape America in general
